The people behind Talk Life Cover

Financial decisions make more sense when the whole life is visible.

Adam O'Keeffe and Daniel Zhumylo work together through Actual Insurances. Their approach begins with context: who depends on you, what you have built and what you want the years ahead to hold.

A personal, adviser-led approach

Start with the person. Then consider the plan.

Protection, health, income, retirement and estate planning may look like separate subjects. In real life they often meet around the same question: how do you preserve choices when circumstances change?

Talk Life Cover is a place to begin that conversation. Information comes first; any personal recommendation follows only after your circumstances and suitability have been assessed.

The journey so far

A practical route into financial planning.

Property foundations

Responsibility began with the places people called home.

Adam describes beginning his career in Cork block management, with responsibility for a portfolio of 21 apartment complexes representing more than 1,000 residential units. The work brought owners, residents, shared finances and long-term decisions into the same view.

Homes in motion

The work moved closer to individual families and investors.

In residential lettings, Adam worked with families seeking homes and landlords managing property investments. It reinforced a practical lesson: behind every asset sits a person, an income and a plan that may need to withstand change.

A wider financial picture

Protection and planning became the natural next chapter.

Moving into financial services widened the conversation from property alone to the people who rely on an income, the future a household wants to fund and the risks that could interrupt it.

Working together

Adam and Daniel now bring those conversations together.

Through Actual Insurances, they work with clients in Cork and across Ireland by phone, online and, where arranged, in person. The aim is a clear first conversation before any recommendation is considered.

Adam O'Keeffe

A perspective shaped by homes, responsibility and long-term decisions.

Adam's property background continues to shape the questions he asks: what matters now, what could disrupt it and what provisions would make a meaningful difference?

Conversations through this campaign can include life and serious illness cover, income protection, health cover, pensions, investments and estate-tax planning through Actual Insurances.

Daniel Zhumylo

A joined-up partner in protection and longer-term planning.

Daniel works alongside Adam through Actual Insurances, helping keep each conversation connected to the client's circumstances rather than beginning with an assumed product.

Together, they offer a consistent point of contact for protection and financial-planning conversations, whether the first meeting takes place by phone, online or in person.

How the conversation works

Personal guidance, with the important details left visible.

The starting point is your circumstances. Product terms, eligibility, trade-offs and risk still matter, and a personal recommendation is made only after a fact-find and suitability assessment.

Listen first

Begin with the people, responsibilities and objectives behind the enquiry.

Explain clearly

Set out relevant terms, limitations and next steps in plain language.

Connect the pieces

Consider immediate protection alongside longer-term planning where relevant.

Review when needed

Arrange a further review when circumstances, priorities or existing provisions change.
